This is a very small breakfast restaurant but so big in flavor!!! The attention from the staff is amazing and their food is delicious! A must visit in the keys as well a place to always stop and take some muffins home. And talking about their muffins… they are big in size and taste! I have tried several flavor and I can never decide which one I will take home, I wanna take them ALL!!! And their biscuit is not the regular one but a huge piece, just look at the photo I took! A favorite place to take a ride down and have a delicious breakfast! Totally recommend

The Key Lime Muffin. No words to describe how good this tastes. I'll try. Warm, fluffy, light, moist, divine, key lime filled, with powdered sugar on top! And, they serve a gluten free one!! My All American Breakfast hit the spot, & my husband raved over his Spicy Beef Breakfast Burrito...almost too hot to handle, & appropriately so. Ha! Stop here each time you pass through the Keys. We will.

This place is a gem that is definitely not hidden as it can be difficult to find parking which is due to the small place. But do not let that fool you, Harriet's is a cozy and homey feeling place where you sit so close to the neighboring table that a conversation can be easily started. The service was incredible as our waiter was great and so were the rest who helped with anything if he wasn't nearby. The food was fresh and delicious and let's not get started on the comically sized biscuits which are flaky, soft and airy. Had never been before this visit and even though we were stuffed we had to take muffins to-go and try at home. I honestly thought because of the way they looked they'd be a bit dense and dry but man I was happy to be wrong. They are delicious, soft and super flavorful. So grateful for a place not too far from home that is amazing.

Come to Harriette’s and be transported to old Florida, where hospitality was the norm. This place never disappoints. We came for breakfast and waited about 5-10 minutes to be seated. Our server, Angelo, was delightful and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the All American breakfast and Traditional Eggs Benedict with a Mimosa. Both came out at the same time and were delicious. The Hollandaise sauce was perfect! I could tell it’s homemade because it is not overpowering at all. The Canadian bacon is thick and the eggs cooked to run perfectly. Let’s talk about the Harriette’s biscuit: it is a large, soft, fluffy, melts-in-your-mouth biscuit that you must have. It easily feeds a family of four. Harriette’s is famous for their muffins, so no visit is complete without ordering one or a few like we did. Ours were to go so we could enjoy them later. A note: parking is challenging during peak hours and everything is peak hours. Keep in mind that this place has been a staple in the keys for 40 year. This is the keys, so relax and enjoy, but make sure you stop at Harriette’s! You will thank me later.

It’s a bit of an institution and it is good food alright, except for the Gluten Free key lime muffin it was dry and tasteless unlike my regular key lime coconut one that was yummy. As a chef I did try to explain how to inject lime flavour and make it moist too but they weren’t interested. So come here and enjoy just not the Gf one
