The food was really really good. The service however was a bit awkward. There didn’t appear to be assigned servers to tables so getting service took over 15 minutes and then it was very slow after that. The icing on the cake was a server telling my partner he looked like a serial killer…..
One of the #1 sunset watching spots in Key Largo!! Atmosphere is always so inviting with beautiful stunning views of the bay, sailboats and sunsets in the evening. Food is delicious, we always order some kind of seafood and you can't go wrong. Their pizza is also surprisingly good. Also, call ahead around the weekend to see if they have a live band playing. Nothing beats having a cold drink with fried coconut shrimp while listening to a live band playing your favorite song while the sun sets....
The view was awesome. The food was ok. I had the chicken Alfredo. Hubby had the tuna bowl. Mine didn't have much flavor. He said his was good. They brought out an extra plate with the silverware. We're assuming it was for the flower that was brought out in our food. You could hear the music before you got out of the truck. Was blaring when we got close. Found a table around the corner that buffered it a bit. But it was right at the little beach entrance. So we had a bunch of kids running back and forth. Luz, the waitress was awesome. She needs a raise. But all in all. It wasn't too bad. Doubt we'll visit again when in the area.
The setting is beautiful, especially around sunset. I had a mahi salad, the others had pizza - all reports were that it was delicious. I give only 4 stars because while delicious, not fancy or inventive enough to warrant my highest rating. Service was friendly the first night, and non existent the second night. They appear to be shorthanded consistently during the "sunset rush" this time of year (Feb. So 5 PM - 7 PM ) so don't go withholding your server's tip because it's not her fault, rather complain to the management.
Jimmy Johnson’s Big Chill during an incoming hurricane 10/10. Brett made us feel so welcome! He took the time to learn about us, help us feel better about the downpour situation during our honeymoon and even invited us back to future events. Our fried snapper was phenomenal. The dill dip, SO delicious. Highly recommend the Big Chill and Tea drink in the jug! So yummy. Perfect stop for our first dinner and night in Key Largo
