Waterside Suites and Marina

We were there from Feb 27- Mar 6 2025 for our elopement and vacation. The rooms were very clean and they were great. It was nice to have the extra space compared to hotel room. You have sleeping quarters and a full bathroom with an oversized shower upstairs and a half bath on the main floor. The living room and kitchen were nice to have also. The private balcony was a nice size and was great for morning coffee and sitting in the evening overlooking the channel. The staff was very friendly and would help with anything you needed. The location is convenient since you are about in the middle of Key Largo. Parking was not a problem at all as opposed to some reviews we read previously. There is plenty of parking. We will be back.

Didn’t think to see what was across the water… bar with loud music. It wasn’t too bad. I’d recommend requesting a room on the left side instead. Also being that the blinds were broken and missing a few you had ZERO privacy for the downstairs. Body wash and soaps were empty upstairs. The shower had a small trickle of water. Definitely not enough water coming out to wash hair of this with dense, thick hair. I feel so gross after three days/ two nights of that. We were quoted and reserved our room under one price before arrival and then when we got there they tried charging 70$ more per room. Thankfully we had proof price offered and they DID honor that! I don’t feel like I probably would book here again only due to the shower. Otherwise I’d probably only stay again if I wasn’t planning on spending much time at the room. All staff was kind, friendly.

What a great spot! VERY close to Restaurants and water attractions (Scuba, fishing, glass bottom boats). Found this a refreshing change from a hotel room, 2 floors, nice balcony, cooktop. Staff were wonderful, everything was clean. There is small heated pool which was a bonus. Sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by is incredibly relaxing. Will be back THIS year

Beautiful place to stay on Key Largo. We were very surprised at the quality of the room. Clearly professional work done, granite countertops, beautiful tiled bathroom shower, nice paint on the walls etc. It's the kind of modern and quality construction you want in your home. We usually just want a place that is clean, and Waterside Suites was not only exceptionally clean, but clearly newly renovated with modern appliances and small touches that stand out. You could eat in the bathroom I was that impressed with the cleanliness of the whole room. Comparing prices, it's more than likely the best deal on the whole Key Largo for what you get. Will definitely come back here and gladly give my business to a place with this level of quality and cleanliness. One last comment, the night time desk-attendant was very nice and accommodated us as we had a late night arrival. Very happy and will 100% be back for our next visit to the Keys.

The location was amazing. This place is infested with roaches so I do not recommend staying. It doesn’t even seem like they’ve tried getting rid of them, it’s just “out of their hands” when they can easily call an exterminator to get rid of them. They blamed it on 65° weather which is ridiculous. And it wasn’t just 1 roach either. We killed at least 5 of them. They gave us new linen after we noticed yellow stains and dog hair on the bed. But the roaches were the biggest issue. They left every light on in the room so when we came back the roaches wouldn’t be visible. After about 30 minutes of having the lights off before bed is when they started coming out. They neglected cleaning smaller closets and the heater room. Very disappointed, but was able to get a refund for the nights we didn’t stay because we booked through Expedia.
