a month agoWe were looking for a waterfront restaurant for lunch on our way from Key West to the Miami airport; we found The Hideout! Lunch was delicious! 7 fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw- very good! My salad with tuna was delicious and the tuna portion was large. The sweet tea was good (not overly sweet) and the coffee was delicious. Plenty of parking available and the water view was nice… our server was very pleasant! We enjoyed our lunch here…

3 months agoA cozy spot with a gorgeous location right on the ocean side of Key Largo. I stopped by early on a Saturday morning, and it was quiet and peaceful. There’s ample parking and plenty of indoor and porch seating, which makes it convenient for a laid-back meal. It seems to be a small, family-owned restaurant that’s under new ownership. I tried the biscuits and gravy, which wasn’t my favorite dish, but it was served quickly and was very affordable. The staff was pleasant and welcoming, which made the experience enjoyable overall. If you’re looking for a charming, budget-friendly spot with beautiful views, it’s worth a stop.

2 months agoWe really enjoyed our visit. The servers were very attentive, the location is lovely and very close to the water. Parking on a busy morning was not that hard, there were spots on the water side too. Our food was excellent. I had two eggs, bacon and the seasoned potatoes were excellent. If you love a good biscuit this is your place!! That biscuit melts in your mouth. My friend had the eggs Benedict and she raved about them all day. Sadly we didn’t snap a photo of our meal to share, we did get a couple pictures outside.

5 months agoThe Hideout is a local favorite! The food is good! The atmosphere is excellent. Dine in the main part with ice cold AC, or sit on the screened porch that overlooks the water. This is a one of a kind family owned restaurant! You owe it to yourself to check it out! And let me know what you think.

3 months agoThe avocado Benedict was so satisfying. Not too heavy but very filling. Beautiful view of the water from the shaded porch. Good number of people but not too loud. Some confusion when ordering, but if that's the worst thing to happen all day, then it's a good day.
