Rock Reef Resort

Stayed here at the end of February and it was amazing. I was with a big group we had 4 rooms and it was just lovely , the property is charming and the area it's self is beautiful the view from the dock is the best I can't even describe how beautiful the sunsets were. The rooms were clean and comfy had kitchens with everything you need smart tvs and even kayaks you can use for free. There's grills you can use on property with a sitting area , even a bonsai garden. While this resort isn't the biggest it's the best resort I've been to in a few years as it doesn't feel like a cookie cutter resort. So in other words it's not any other place like it you can feel the uniqueness as you walk around the property and admire its beauty .Ms Linda the owner is amazing with her cute pup sassy she's very hands on ! Alexa and Ashley were extremely helpful in the office and pleasant. I came in a few times during our stay and Alexa took the time to recommend and give us the address to the fish house with was also amazing.

Typing this from oceanfront cabin 10, sitting on our porch swing sipping coffee, watching the beautiful Key Largo morning sun rise over the ocean. Yes, folks, this is the spot. Polite, courteous staff; clean, immaculate accommodations; handicapped-accessible pool; safe, well-lit grounds in a cozy, community-feel space. I've read the other negative reviews and that is not our experience in the least. This is a gem. The only drawback is we couldn't stay longer. Also, following up on nearby restaurants (and there are many), Sal's across the street is the spot. Fresh seafood, steps from the front door of Rock Reef.

Great location and the resort grounds are nice to walk and see the views of the water. Room itself had some issues which were brought to the attention of the staff who said they would talk to the owner, but no follow up has occurred yet. We could hear the people above us constantly walking throughout the night which caused us to keep waking up. The TV did not work. Sound came through, but no picture. It is conveniently located to the activities we had planned during the day. Just use caution or request a top floor room to avoid the issue we had.

Wow! This place was great! Walked into the room and it looked like the pictures! It also smells really good! There are so many places to eat and I recommen the restaurant across the road. The unlimited crab legs were delicious! The pool is nice and warm! I really enjoyed the kayaking! The staff and owner and their dog were supper nice! To the negative people on here just know all the locals walk and ride bikes on the side. It may not be a resort.. there is a large hotel down the road.. try that next time. The location is beautiful I enjoy the small resort! Don't STAY AWAY! the island is great and all the people are so nice! We came all the way from New Mexico! Will definitely be back!

We stayed in cabin 10. Super cute, clean and comfy bed. Front door is only steps from the beach. Chatted with a person that stays for a week and said they see manatees come up. This is definitely a hidden gem.i would love to go back.
