The location of this hotel was the main positive. The room we stayed in was in desperate need of some updating. The window would not open and it had an old musty smell. Also, our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator (and we were not warned of this). At 60, we are healthy enough to carry our bags up the stairs but this would be a problem for my parents. This hotel had the feel of an old motel. It was too chilly to use the pool so maybe that would have been a positive.

The location is ideal, as it’s a convenient midpoint to Key West, Everglades National Park, and Miami’s South Beach, making it easy to explore all three. While breakfast wasn’t included in the room price, the atmosphere, ambiance, and pool areas more than made up for it. The pricing was reasonable, and overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend for a peaceful and enjoyable visit!”
We travel with my small service dog. The grounds had doggie bags and waste containers. The room was the premium king with water front balcony. Very nice sitting area sofa also nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Located close to new shopping center and restaurant walking distance next door. Pool was absolutely wonderful. Felt safe and welcomed. Will stay again. Thank you to All the workers that keep it nice.
We called the Florida keys visitor center and told them we would be vacationing in the keys and asked for guidance. We told them we wanted something nice but not over the top. Something midrange on pricing, clean, comfortable and provided a tropical vacation atmosphere. And within driving distance to the other keys. They were incredibly helpful and recommended this place. Let me say we LOVED our stay at this Motel. Front desk staff was kind, welcoming and accommodating. The courtyard around the pool is gorgeous, tropical and so fun! Would be great for couples or families. Our room was on the backside of the hotel near the canal and Skippers restaurant. It couldn’t have been a more peaceful and comfortable setting near the water’s edge and tiki huts. We were offered a poolside room but declined it because we enjoyed the peacefulness of the grassy areas next to the water. The interior of the motel was clean with a gift shop and restaurant. We didn’t go to the indoor restaurant but we did eat at Skippers twice. Really enjoyed the live music and the delicious menu. They had top notch service as well. We never require daily room cleaning but our room was clean when we arrived and cared for when we requested which we appreciated. We were always greeted with a smile here. This place is a great place to stay while visiting the other keys. We would highly recommend it. The price is incredibly fair as well.
We just finished our 3rd stay at this hotel. Coming from Miami, this is such a nice change of pace. The rooms are always nice and clean, the staff are friendly, and the pool area is very relaxing. They have two pools, one with a fun water fall feature for the kids. The food is good and very reasonably priced, especially considering kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree. We will definitely be back.

The rooms are always nice and clean, the staff are friendly, and the pool area is very relaxing. They have two pools, one with a fun water fall feature for the kids. The food is good and very reasonably priced, especially considering kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree. We will definitely be back.
