Had dinner here for the first time yesterday and have to say we were pleasantly surprised. We had the Key Lime Fish Sandwich and the Fish Sandwich, grilled (Mahi Mahi). Both were 5 star ! We were promptly greeted upon entering the restaurant, and the service throughout was fantastic. Loved the pleasant atmosphere, nice and clean, music was not blaring like in many other joints. Our waitress had a lovely sense of humor and was very attentive. We are locals, and this is now one of a new favorite spots for a casual place to grab some good food. Thank you to everyone at High Tide!
We stopped over for a quick fried calamari snack (one of the appetizers).
For 15 USD, it was a disappointing dish. It seemed like the calamari was dipped in batter and fried just like that, no salt. The sauce was not enough to hide the blandness and the portion was very small.
We ordered take-out and we were disappointed to notice that they were packed in a styrofoam box (Canadian cringe moment). The hot calamari was burning through the box as seen in the first photo.
As we just took an appetizer, I don’t know if this review is completely representative of the restaurant as a whole. On the positive side, the staff was really friendly and the calamari was crispy.
Hashbrown casserole is a must-have!! Love to eat breakfast here at High Tides 🌊 Enjoyed The Cowboy 🍳 and breakfast sandwhich croissant 🥐, both with the hashbrown casserole!! Unlimited coffees ☕️☕️ to keep you energized for the day! Staff here are the friendliest and greet you with a smile . Parking onsite. Will be back again!

Had a great meal with excellent service at High Tide. The servers were super attentive and kind. We had the lobster bisque which was a bit different from your normal bisque flavor wise but was delicious. The potato salad was also amazing, as suggested from a local. I would suggest stopping here for breakfast or lunch to anyone traveling on highway 1!
