Pump charged me $176 for my $14 in gas. I later learned that the store "reserves" a charge on American Express for "up to" $176 that they later decrease to the actual amount that you owed, similar to what a hotel does with your credit card. Never saw a gas station/convenience store do this before, especially without any notice that they are doing so. Very disconcerting when the credit card provider notifies you of the pending charge.
Manager (woman) don't know her name, sorry. 12 people in line, wouldn't get off her ass to help obviously in the weeds cashier who was doing her best to serve customers. 15 minutes in line not good. She needs to find a new job. Service is not in her vocabulary. ...
Have a special on an item 2/$2.00.. total comes to $2.15.. I ask to split a payment so I can use the last of what is on my gift card.. the girl who barely speaks English rings items up separately $1.39 each transaction instead of the $2.15.. not about the overcharge but the fact the girl refused to re-ring in my items to get the discount. When I asked to speak with a manager she told me he would be in on Monday.. 4 days later.. will not be stopping by here again
