Candlewood Suites Miami Exec Airport – Kendall, an IHG Hotel

Rooms and appliances are showing their age. We had a noisy air-conditioning unit which sounded like a jet turbine going off every 20 mins so had to turn it off. The fridge was competing noise wise and so was the air vent in the bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable and well stocked with basic essentials for catering. On site facilities for food were expensive but convenient. The free coffee was a nice gesture and was good. Parking was always available and location was great for us for shopping and food. Staff were super helpful and friendly.

Good location. Even though I was taking a cruise and this is a bit far, it was nice to see this area of Miami as it is mostly locals. The neighborhood was really quiet and safe. Laid back. For the price (one of the cheapest in Miami with respectable reviews) this was a slam dunk. I booked for the price, neighborhood and kitchen, and it did not disappoint. The fitness facility was fantastic, the service was good. The room was super quiet. The property for the most part was really clean but always room for improvement. The pool appeared well maintained and safe to swim. The coffee was was free and did the job. Elevator was fairly fast. Parking was ample and easy. Real close to the Everglades. Good food in the area and a few supermarkets as well, but you will need a car to stay here. I recommended and would consider staying again one day

Came here, and the annoyance started with no parking being available at all. What was insanely annoying was that, what we would eventually find out to be a food delivery driver, took the one spot that was available. I tried to ask the fellow if he was a delivery driver, but he didn't speak english. The staff gave us a pass to park at the hotel next door. After doing so and lugging our belongings to this hotel, the latter fellow was gone, and someone had taken his spot. We got to the room and smelled heavily like somene fried fish in there. I came back down to the service desk and was informed that no other rooms were available. The only assist they could give me was a can of deodorizer. Outside of the above, the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Maybe this was a one-off day, this being the night of Wednesday, February 19th, 2024. I don't know if I could recommend this place based on the stay. But the price was, on the other hand, reasonable given the location. The views were also nice. I can’t say enough great things about this place! It’s incredibly comfortable, welcoming, and truly feels like a home away from home. The atmosphere is amazing, and the attention to detail shows they genuinely care about their guests. We stayed for a week. I like the fact that it has a kitchette with fridge, stove top, and other goods to cook etc. What i didn't like is that the mattresses were a bit uncomfortable, they need to be upgraded, especially the sofa bed . The front desk personnel
