a week agoThe resort was beautiful and the perfect size. Bikes are provided for every bungalow which is great. The rooms are very nice. There were some details I would change but overall very nice. It is an all inclusive which was nice for the guys but the women in our group felt very wasteful and like we over ate the entire stay. I think I would like an option of opting out of dinner so you can have the choice of e pliéing the restaurants in the area. The pool are was very nice as well as the beach area. Very clean and tidy. Wait staff was great. Polite and attentive. I would highly recommend. We will return for sure.

in the last weekWe had our honeymoon here (almost a year ago now) and we CAN'T WAIT to come back! The food was AMAZING- we ate at all of the restaurants, including the steakhouse! The views are beautiful. The pools/hot tub were very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms (especially the outdoor shower and tub) were PERFECT! Bungalows is so peaceful and has literally everything you need! We made the 2hr trip down to Key West for the day, which was also amazing! PS, check out the giant BassPro in Islamorada- never seen anything like it! Excited to come back!

3 months agoWe booked the ADA bungalow and the bathroom was a perfect roll in shower. They gave us a wooden shower seat with it. Staff accommodated us for accessibility at restaurants. Only parts inaccessible was the fitness center ( 3 steps) and pathway to spa (very rocky, had to cancel our massages). Overall it was a great experience for wheelchair accessible and staff was amazing! I would suggest spa come up with in room massage option for special need couples and a portal small ramp for the steps for the fitness center for all to join!

3 months agoI recently visited a friend staying at Bungalows Key Largo, and I was blown away by how beautiful the resort is! The property is lush and well-maintained, creating a perfect tropical escape. The restaurant and bar are top-notch, offering delicious food and drinks in a stunning setting. The ambiance is relaxing and upscale, making it an ideal place to unwind. After experiencing everything firsthand, I’d love to stay here on my next trip. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful and luxurious getaway in Key Largo!

a week agoSadly this incredible property and the wonderful service staff that work here from valet to servers and bartenders (all delightful) are pretty much ruined by the awful management by Cynthia the general manager and her staff. Checking in is an unpleasant ordeal where you are treated like a beggar asking for a gift after paying 2k per night to stay in a resort and unwind from a busy life. The staff instructed me to return at 3pm to check in and were very nice when I arrived to drop bags. Upon returning at 3pm the staff told us “you just have to wait over there on the couch until the next shift arrives because they are running late so once they arrive and we have a meeting with all the staff we will get someone to check you in”. All the while three lazy staff members were hanging around reception like they are in a locker room talking about weekend plans. I asked that one of them check me in and they said “sorry your shift is late.” I explained that I am not an employee and rather a paying guest. I asked for management and they contacted Cynthia who staying in the back without addressing the situation communicating with the staff over their earphones and leaving us to wait without apology nor resolution. Three staff up front and Cynthia in back seemed more concerned with waiting to hand over duties to late staff than attending to paying guests. The entire reception and management team that Cynthia runs is better suited to a federal penetentiary than an even a mediocre resort. I have to say the property and the service staff and the bungalows are all quite wonderfully magical. Sadly it’s hard to enjoy when the manager thinks she’s a prison warden overseeing criminals rather than guests. Of note the restaurant that is the $300 add in is great and a must do as it’s a fantastic meal way beyond the other offerings if you go. The rest of the food is mostly just passable or worse. Just don’t expect to be respected or treated well by management. Sadly management response to mistreated guests is nonapologetic and conversely directly attacking guests with accusatory lies about guest behavior as present in their response here. Seems consistent with other reviews here. Sad really for a beautiful property to lack any sense of guest services. I have personally never seen anything like this!
