My favorite stop in the keys. The best atmosphere, service and employees are second to none, and the food is amazing! Truly feel like the old keys here without any of the cooperate fluff. Go see Dawg the bartender he is the best and will take great care of you!! You won’t regret going to Alabama Jacks
Good food. Good service. Prices aren’t bad. You are on the water. Like a canal but still on the water lol. The combo is a decent size plate and tasty. Peel and eat shrimp are really good. And I liked the sweet potato fries. Good overall experience.
First the good... loved sitting on the canal and looking at the decor.
Now the bad... no prices on the beer/seltzers listed. So to my surprise when the bill came 4.50 for a corona light (expected) 9.00 for a normal size white claw!!! When I asked about it (thinking we were charged for 2 of them ), i was told it's 9.00 for a white claw. Feeling cheated!
Also very dirty, fan in the bathroom hasn't been cleaned since it was hung up.
Food was just ok. We shared the conch fritter and chicken nachos. Chicken was good but I like real cheese not cheese whiz on nachos. We wont go back again.
This is one of those great little hole in the wall places right on the water for a great atmosphere! I always like to get the fish when I come here because it's always very fresh, and the portion size is usually great! The staff has always been hard-working, and friendly. One of my favorite stops on my way to the lower Keys.
