Five stars for the price, cleanliness, and convenience. Is this a luxury hotel? No, and if that's what you are looking for, then look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a clean, safe, and modern hotel at a great price, then this is the place for you. Super easy check in/out. Front desk staff was incredibly friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the TV was huge! No issues with noise whatsoever. In fact, the nice young man who checked us in indicated that our designated room was near the ice machine, and asked if we wanted to move....what a nice touch! The parking lot is very well-lit, in case you are worried about safety. The breakfast every morning is pretty basic, but gets the job done. We also enjoyed the 24/7 coffee bar. Didn't use the fitness equipment, but it looked new and in nice shape. We had a blast playing foosball in the lobby (it's free)! Lastly, make sure to check out the guest recommendations white board by the elevators. We found some real gems on that board!
If you are reading this, DO NOT stay here. Checked in and proceeded to walk into the nastiest hotel room I have ever laid eyes on. The reception was actually really cool about swapping my room after I had mentioned that to him. Second room was no different. Between both rooms it seems like they only change the trash bags and sheets in the rooms, which still were covered in hair. Toilet was covered In hair and urine. 10/10 would sleep in my car again over a place like this.
Edit: Do yourself a favor and look at the mattresses of the rooms. They're usually spotless in clean hotels.
I've stayed any many home2suites locations and this one by far is my least enjoyable.
Facilities and room were nice as they were at most other locations, however the amount of noise that the doors slamming from other guests made the experience very unpleasant throughout the night. I was the on the 6th floor to avoid noise and somehow got all of it. Also the walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors even opening the blinds.
Not only that there was frequent noise from sirens from outside police around the area throughout the night
Also the elevator certificate was expired since July of 2024 and both elevators felt like they were falling apart

I became ill and asked for a late checkout and was told no. This is not good when one of your customers is ill yet they are being forced out. Have more empathy for your customers.

Although the location is far off from the center of Miami, Florida City has a few good restaurants located right by this hotel. The area around the hotel is quiet and the hotel itself looks new and is very clean. When I checked in the man at the front desk was not rude but was not really interested in customer service. Example: there was no greeting, no smile etc. However, the gentleman at the front desk named Bernard, was friendly, smiled and even joked with me. I also had a great experience with the cleaning staff as every time I saw one of them in the hall, they all looked me in my eyes, smiled and said hello. It’s the little things like that which makes a great customer service experience. The bed was really comfortable (I am surprised still), the breakfast was hot with ample selections - just make sure you get there early or it’ll be gone - and the room, lobby and dining areas are modern, cheery, and happy colors are used in the decor. The soaps and body lotion smells great and seems to be high quality. Oh, and how can I forget the TV? I am really pleased with its size and the selections such as HBO and other movie channels. I am thinking of adding another night but waiting to see if they will give me a Florida resident discount like they do at the Hilton Miami Dadeland. Great hotel, I’m happy!
I would say look up the Tru brand and what it entitles, it’s similar to all other Tru style hotels. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was clean and water was hot. Found parking even when arriving after midnight. Mobile check in and out so did not even talk to anyone the whole process for a quick one night stay.
