Lovely group of people working here! I'm always warmly greeted and made to feel more like a friend or neighbor as opposed to a "customer". Justin is usually here and today Stephie was back from retirement for a short time! One of the most pleasant business activities i have to do several times a week is stopping at the UPS store. I also appreciate the fact that the owner treats her employees well! It makes me feel good about doing business here.
I just tried to drop off a labeled package, which I usually do, and the woman behind the counter told me I had "to wait like everyone else" for the receipt, there was along line and I looked frustrated, didn't say anything and left, as I was walking out she yelled out sarcastically "merry Christmas!". I have just been in a car crash, I am sore and in pain, my 86 year old friend was driving me so I couldn't wait but she decided to assume and be unpleasant in front of a full store. And I know her, we have shared pleasantries before. Two things I took from that: I will pay more and use the regular post office or other services that don't require dealing with that store and don't be mean, you don't know what others are going through.
Would suggest going elsewhere to get anything notarized. Made a 2:00pm appointment to get something notarized in the morning(well before their lunch break) and when I went in at 2:00 I was told the woman who notarizes things left early for the day after her lunch break. At the very least they could have called me with the number provided to let me know she would be leaving.
The store’s listed hours for Christmas (Eve) are incorrect. Do not follow the store's listed hours. Their service hours are specific to holidays; they do not mention that they might be different on some days (holidays), therefore it appears someone put these hours in advance. The hours for Christmas Eve are open till 3, while Christmas Day is closed. They were closed when I visited on Christmas Eve at 1:20 p.m. I would suggest to the store to adjust the listed hours to state “Christmas Eve might affect these hours” like all other businesses. Unless the store will adhere to the specified hours.
Alex, the owner, and all of her staff are amazing. They are polite, attentive, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My store of choice for all my shipping and printing needs.
