I haven't been to the Corner often, but what brings me back are the queer friendly events! Recently, the Dyke Nites hosted there have been amazing and a key event I certainly will never miss. The organizers are very transparent and open answering all my questions. I find it to be a very trans friendly space, as myself and my friends are all different flavors of trans and feel very safe at this event. I have connected with both new friends and old, and appreciate that it is a uniquely dyke-y space that isn't purely a club space but allows for dancing and drinks. I hope this event lasts for a good long while, as being there makes me feel the most euphoric I have ever felt at queer events :)

I’ve been coming to this bar for a few times now. I’ve been here for happy hour, or just because and for dy*e night! In other words I had an amazing time in whatever event they had. I enjoy the people and the employees at this bar, they had been so friendly and patience with what you’re trying to order! Lol I love this bar cause of the community that they support. I love that they are diverse! It shows on their event page! There is something for everyone or to support in whatever you’re into! You CANNOT ask for a better bar that supports their community and the bartenders! Stay amazing y’all! I’m definitely coming back :)

We found this little place while awaiting an artist show at E11ven. Had some outside seating, but we decided to go inside. It reminded me of an old school New Orleans bar type of feel. It seemed like a place where you could have a conversation over some great drinks. Thankfully, I was right. We ordered a few of their specialty drinks and really enjoyed them. The bar tender was very accommodating and shook the heck out of our drinks. I was quite impressed at his skills as I watched him make our drinks. Prices were agreeable as a Miami bar. Place was clean and we felt safe. I really enjoyed the ambiance. The bathroom was covered in graffiti and was pretty cool. Don't think twice about visiting this place. It was a great spot for some drinks in a dimly lit bar for a romantic date.

Raul at The Corner is one of the best bartenders I’ve come across. He’s fast, professional, and makes incredible cocktails. Whether it’s a classic drink or something creative, he always gets it just right. What sets Raul apart is his attention to detail and consistency. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it shows in the quality of every drink he makes. He’s also super efficient, so even when the bar is busy, he keeps things moving without sacrificing quality. If you’re at The Corner, make sure to grab a drink from Raul. You won’t be disappointed!

Fun on a regular night but their Dyke Night is one of the more negative lesbian experiences in Miami. Atmosphere is pretentious and stuffy, music feels like an intense try-hard attempt at being underground, Dyke Nite staff is incredibly wound up and rude (excluding bartenders and bouncers), the rules set for the event are mind-boggling and restrictive (not referring to the masks). One rule was no chatting on the dance floor (?). I looked at their Instagram page afterwards and the event organizers are arguing with patrons and being passive aggressive. Very weird event and organizers, there's much better lesbian events in Miami and FTL that are less restrictive and give off less Tiktok energy and actually have a chill vibe. There's not many lesbian centered events in Miami, so it sucks that this one was so disappointing. Also, brought a friend that's transitioning and she didn't look the way they thought she should so she got put on blast and got called a cis guy on their IG. Ruined her night. They also posted a weird joke about transitioning on a whim- Not sure this event is trans inclusive unless you aesthetically fit the bill.
