Pet Limo was amazing in taking care of my dog during his quarantine. He arrived from Cali to Miami on March 3rd, and they delivered him to me on the afternoon of March 4th. Throughout the process, their team showed genuine care and exceptional professionalism. They gave me peace of mind, always keeping me updated on his well-being. When I got him back, he was happy and well cared for, which proves the love they put into their work. Thank you, Pet Limo, for making this process so smooth and full of love! 100% recommended.
Bringing your dog to the USA from another country is of course a traumatic experience for the animal and their family. Pet Limo could do a lot more to make it less traumatic for the animals and family. The instructions they provided were good and pretty much complete. I appreciate that they made it possible for us to import our dog, but we were not happy about many things. I see the owner’s response to other people having a bad experience. She does not accept any responsibility, which is not acceptable. Being the only approved facility means they can do as they please. Our dog was in perfect condition when they picked him up from the airport, but when we picked him up after four days in quarantine, he was extremely stressed, had burnt and bloody paws, raw bleeding elbows, and patches of missing hair. The cages are small with hot cement floors. The animals are kept outside with just a shade cloth cover over the small cage. It had been over 90 F everyday there in Miami, much too hot and humid for animals. Harsh for any animal. We came from Bogota, it’s never hot there. There was a bucket of water in his cage, but the water was green. They would not let me take any photos of the facility. The person I mostly communicated with sounded nice and friendly and helpful, but she lied every time. She would say she’d get back with me on the status of things but she never did. She claimed the release was sent to the customs broker, but the broker said it was not sent to her. I had to pester them for information, updates, and if the documents I provided were good or not. They used the excuse that they are very busy, well, hire more people. They told me our dog had been aggressive. I told several people numerous times verbally and in email that he could be aggressive with strangers and provided them with a muzzle. He had never been separated from us before nor handled by strangers. And obviously this all would be stressful for any animal. The animals should be able to get out of the sun and heat in a climate controlled area. They should add web cameras so we can see that our pets are doing well. If they say they are going to do something, they should do it. Communication can be improved. They say their facility is open 7/24 but the vet may not be available Saturday and not available Sunday. I would have timed things differently had I known so our dog would have spent less time there.
If you’re considering using PetLimo for pet transport, do yourself a favor and don’t.
We recently relocated our German Shepherd from Canada to Grenada using Paws En Route, who handled the Canadian portion of the journey smoothly. However, PetLimo was responsible for part of the transit in the U.S., and their negligence was shocking.
First, they delivered our dog in a crate that wasn’t even hers. Not only was this completely unprofessional, but the crate still had soiled pee pads from the previous dog—an unacceptable level of care and sanitation for a pet transport company.
Then, upon reviewing the airway bill, we realized that the previous dog was actually supposed to be heading to India. This means that somewhere along the way, PetLimo realized they had completely messed up and had to contact Amerijet to fix their mistake with the destination—so our dog didn’t end up going to India!
On top of all this, they refuse to answer calls or respond to any messages. We have tried repeatedly to reach them, and they simply ignore us.
If you love your pet, do NOT trust PetLimo. And if you’re working with a pet relocation service, demand that they never use PetLimo for any part of your pet’s journey. This level of incompetence is not something you want to risk when it comes to your pet’s safety.
I’m very pleased doing business with Petlimo. They Imported our 2 dogs. They communicate very effectively. Tracy is just a great human being.she helped me out during the entire process. She made sure everything is in order for us. Our dogs were super happy in the pics during the short stay with them. If you follow the written instructions everything would be hassle free. Highly recommended. Thank you
