MODE Downtown Miami

MODE is a solid spot in downtown, and I can’t believe it took me this long to check it out since it’s within walking distance from my place. The vibes are on point—good energy, stylish ambiance, and a nice balance between a lounge and a club. It’s not massive, which I actually liked. The bar area feels more private, but it still has a full club atmosphere with two DJ booths. Upstairs is the main dance floor, and downstairs in the basement, there’s a cozier, more intimate dance area with another bar. Perfect setup depending on what kind of night you’re in the mood for. I got to see Gaeb & Mejia and Steve Lawler, and they absolutely killed it—especially Gaeb & Mejia. The music was unreal. Had a drink, and it was surprisingly good for a nightclub. Definitely coming back, especially to check out their happy hour!

This DJ club is EXACTLY what Miami needed! Intimate, small venue with two levels. The basement (yes a basement in Miami!) reminded me of a city like Montreal. Great sound and lighting, especially downstairs. Professional staff and friendly bartenders (shout out to Michelle). Truly a special night!

I've been here twice and THIS is why i love this place! In Miami a lot of the nightlife includes just standing around and taking videos, pretending to have a good time... However, here, everyone is genuinely having a good time - DANCING!!! I was lucky to check out this farewell party last night by Miguel Gallardo bc it rlly was a historic moment of ✨️VIBES ✨️ & his set and the overall dj lineup was 10/10.

Cocktails were amazing, staff was super nice, we got to sit at the bar till the venue filled up. Great, friendly crowd and the music and sound was really great. There was plenty of space to move around even though it felt full you could still dance and have a great time.

Overall it was a great experience. I’m a new father so it was my first night out in a long time. They do have a happy hour until 9pm on house drinks. The DJ is good, and they play a lot of EDM. That’s not exactly my vibe, but DJ was killing it. Customer service is quick and efficient. I enjoyed the lighting and layout of the club as well. I consider it as a nicer club in Miami which I liked. People were dressed either in good street ware or business casual. Overall great time, but the bathroom situation is mid
