Everything in it's place. Antique Convention. OK food offerings, clean bathrooms, plenty attendants all around. Various options for parking. Vallet, street parking, parking garage. No cash accepted at parking machines or food vendors. Attendants are pleasant at every level.
This is a beautiful convention center located in Miami Beach. Had to visit today to pick up race bibs for the Miami Marathon. The parking situation wasn't great, neither was the traffic in the area but other than that, this is a very nice, large convention center.
The 1.4 million square feet center MBCC, is managed by Oak View Group (OVG) Venue Management and owned by the City of Miami Beach.
An antique show is going on but we didn't go.
Next to it, a new Grand Hyatt hotel is being built - opposite from the City Hall, and the botanical garden.
There are a few public art works on display, such as Minna by Jaume Plensa, and Elmgreen & Dragset: Bent Pool.
Review of My Time at The Miami Beach Convention Center
Attending the Blue Gala at the Miami Beach Convention Center was a remarkable experience, even though I wasn’t feeling my best. Despite being under the weather, the energy of the event and the ambiance of the venue made it an enjoyable evening.
The convention center itself was outstanding—modern, spacious, and impeccably maintained. The staff ensured everything ran smoothly, from the setup to the accommodations. The event was well-organized, with an elegant atmosphere that perfectly suited the occasion.
As someone deeply involved in politics, the Blue Gala provided an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations. The event was both inspiring and impactful, reminding me of the importance of staying involved and making a difference in our community.
Overall, my time at the Miami Beach Convention Center was memorable. Despite not feeling 100%, the experience left me energized and grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a significant event. I would highly recommend the venue for future events!

2 weeks agoThe Miami Boat Show is excellent. It is worth leaving the northern states for a wonderful February visit.
