If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, LongHorn Steakhouse in Homestead is truly a gem! I hadn’t visited in about a year, and I was thrilled to find that it still holds a special place in my heart as a top-notch steakhouse. Upon my return, I noticed the menu had been refreshed, which added a nice touch to my experience.
I had the pleasure of being served by a wonderful waiter named Saree (or Sherri—my apologies if I misspelled it!). She was incredibly attentive and made sure that my dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. The manager also took the time to greet us and check on our satisfaction, which I truly appreciated—it’s these personal touches that elevate a meal.
Now, let's talk about the food! Finding a restaurant that can cook a great steak can be a challenge, but LongHorn excels at it. You might think, “It’s a steakhouse; how hard can it be?” Well, I can assure you that their steaks are exceptional—far surpassing those at other popular chains like Texas Roadhouse. I ordered a medium-well ribeye, and it was absolutely a 10 out of 10! The flavors were rich and the cooking was perfect.
I also indulged in the lobster mac and cheese, which was utterly divine, and the mashed potatoes were just right—well-cooked and seasoned to perfection.
As for the cocktails, I did find that the drink I ordered was a bit lighter on the alcohol than I’d prefer. However, I didn’t mind too much, as I was really there to savor the delicious food.
In summary, if you’re in the Homestead area and craving a fantastic steak, LongHorn is definitely the place to be. They offer incredible value for your money, and I wholeheartedly give them a 10 out of 10! Don’t miss out on this wonderful dining experience!
From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! The staff is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. I wish I could remember the Host/Greeter name who welcomed my family and I when we arrived on Saturday around 7pm, she is the best, she is one of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered. Kudos to the entire team!
Our first choice of chain food restaurant to dine at was LongHorn Steakhouse. As we entered, the host was very welcoming, we immediately felt comfortable. The waitress was a major disappointment. Our orders took very long, she forgot the straws, requested lemon, she forgot that too. We ordered steak and lobster. The steak was cardboard, very dry and tough and after waiting very long, the food came out cold. When my wife tried to talk to her, she had a very bad attitude contacted the manager. We explained to the manager the situation and from there the issues were addressed. The steak was done to our likeness and everything was hot. Unfortunately at that moment we lost our appetite and had to take away the food. The manager even offered a complimentary dessert. Was also good 👍 thank you for your understanding. Will definitely come again. One bad waitress won’t stop me. If there is a problem I will always address it.
