La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Miami Airport West

My room was spacious had what I needed clean and neat. I was in a handicap room so the bathroom was space but spacious for wheelchair use. Not enough counter space 2 small metal shelves felt like a prison or gas station vibe. Loved all the outlet space for chargers . Cruise industry needs to take some lessons

This hotel was perfect for my 2 day stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice sized fridge and microwave. The parking was free which is not always the case in Miami hotels. It is in a nice area and I felt safe as a female traveling alone. It was quiet with a comfortable bed and lots of outlets and places to charge technology. Some good eating places are in easy walking distance. A free breakfast is available. It is nicely landscaped and the property is very well maintained. I highly recommend!

Our room was nice! Much larger than we expected and had a lot more amenities than we expected. Other than not being walking distance from very much, we would likely stay here again. And then there’s Shirley. What can I say about Shirley? She was fantastic! We arrived after a long, stressful, and expensive taxi ride from our cruise ship. We were a bit early for our check-in time, but that was not an issue. Shirley immediately greeted us, made us feel welcome, and put us at ease. There was an issue with our TV and Shirley got maintenance there immediately; then moved us to a new room when the issue continued. She was very kind, accommodating, and a delight to work with. She made her stay here that much better.

The hotel was nice. The staff was nice and accommodating. Alex was a nice and friendly counter rep who greeted us with a smile and professionalism. The only thing that I feel that we had a problem with is the parking. There is not enough parking spaces for this hotel location, especially if you’re coming in late every night. Other than that, I would definitely recommend.

The location was fine, you’re about 5 minutes from major shopping. I did not use any services however the front desk receptionist was great for passing along useful information. The room was fine except for the location. We were right by the elevator and the room next door kept coming and going the entire evening and night. Someone didn’t have a key so they had to knock each and every time. Overall it is a good place to stay for a short visit. I only stayed 1 night.
