Clean and spacious. An old building with old building quirks: hot water lacking, a slow-draining sink. A very teeny, tiny TV. But overall, it was a great experience. Christine greeted us shortly after arrival... She's great. She gave us the WiFi password, took care to provide clean towels, and touched base throughout our stay to make sure we were happy. Thanks Hotel Redland and best regards from BC. 🇨🇦
It was awesome having Christine as our interface with the hotel
She did an awesome job.
Great communication skills and always most helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Redland.
Also appreciated the history of the building and area.
Traveled with a friend who needed the handicapped handicapped room. We were greeted on our arrival by the welcoming and pleasant house keeper . Room was lovely , definitely enjoyed our stay. Didn't get a chance to check out the restaurant, but heard good things about it. Hope to visit again.
The Hotel Redland (and Christine in particular) saved us from a bad AirBnB experience. After hearing about our conundrum of what to do with a bad place, Christine stepped in and called to see if she could get us in a room. We only found the place because of the amazing bistro downstairs, and it turned into a great experience. Christine made sure we had everything we needed, and she takes amazing care of the rooms.
The only downside is the water pressure and the sound coming into the room, but that's from patrons not the hotel.
First, I really don't know why we selected this hotel on our road trip to the Keys. I mean, Key Largo is less than an hour further. Also, and unrelated to the hotel stay, there were very few restaurant options available when we arrived around 8:00p. Finding the hotel at night was a bit of a challenge as you have to enter through the back of the building. Getting your keys was also not as clear as it could be and lastly getting into the building was also a bit of a chore. As others have mentioned, the room was sparse and oddly shaped but the bed was quite comfortable and I slept like a champ. Overall it was good for the price but I think we should have driven the extra 45 minutes to Key Largo.
