High tide is a great outdoor restaurant and bar, conveniently located right off the Miami Beach biking and walking trail. We appreciate that we were able to bring our rented bikes inside the property and enjoy a relaxing lunch. We chose this restaurant because they had upbeat music that was not too obtrusive. We ordered the guacamole, and the tortilla chips were light and crispy. We split the Garden salad with sauteed herbed shrimp. This salad was excellent! Their signature cocktails have plenty to choose from. The wait staff were friendly and accommodating. We give High Tide five stars.
Angel the bartender is a boss. He’s friendly, makes great recommendations and provides witty banter for your experience. This is a great beach bar off the boardwalk in SOBE that allows outside guests. They have great music with a DJ. The watermelon sushi, empanadas, and chickpea salad is amazing. See Angel for a good time and great service.
Not super impressed with this place. Not only did we wait a long time to get our food, it didn't taste very good. I only had a few bites and it didn't even taste like what the menu described. We also had a pretty expensive tab for only a few drinks and a wrap. The bartenders were flinging cups around and getting alcohol all over the bar.
