This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away and connected to the Riviera Hotel South Beach. Went for a late lunch. The service was great. Waitresses friendly.
The setting felt like being in setting in a small Latin community. So fun! The decor was charming and set the atmosphere for a relaxed meal.
Food was tasty. We ordered a burger that we split, some guacamole and chips and fried sweet plantains. Everything was prepared to perfection. Prices were comparable to other area restaurants.
We had breakfast here and sat in the front area. The restaurant is very pretty and welcoming. Our server Victoria was very pleasant and friendly. We had smoothies and delicious empanadas. Great way to start our day. Definitely recommend eating here, prices are more reasonable and the food is good.
This was our last meal together in Miami. It was at @nogalsobe El Nogal Latin Restaurant & Bar.
Everything was so good, but that soup. I had to ask the waitress what the name of it was. Then I asked her to write it down for me. I'm telling you both A and I. When it hit our lips we were like this is so good! It's amazing. It was perfect. The seafood was tender and fresh. The broth was rich and flavorful. It's called Cazuela de Mariscos Colombia and I need more of it in my life.
You must try this in Miami and you must go to this restaurant for it. That's all. Trust me. Go. The ceviche was amazing also. The octopus was so tender. This place has 4.5 stars out of 5 on Google maps and I can see why.
FISH CEVICHE

cilantro with acevichada milk
MIX CEVICHE

SEAFOOD STEW
Traditional Caribbean-style seafood stew with clams,
mussels, shrimp and fish in creole sauce, with rice and green plantains
Highly recommend this spot! Very authentic and delicious Colombian food! Christian and Bianca were great, helpful, and very friendly! Will definitely be back for another bandeja paisa, tacos, and cocktails!
The only good thing about this place was the outdoor seating outside the hotel. There were ants on the salt. The waitress tried to explain the ants were not inside the bottle but why would I want to use the salt shaker if there were ants on the outside!! And then there was black mold in the water bottle. So disgusting. And then after telling her all of this she added the 20 percent gratuity that all of Miami Beach does and then added an additional 20 percent gratuity. When asking her about the could’ve tip she said it must be a “computer glitch “.
See attached photos of the black mold in the water bottle. I am hoping I don’t get sick from this
