Comfort Suites Miami – Kendall

3 star hotel, charges you like a 4 star hotel, operates like a 2 star hotel. I didn't see any roaches, so that's a plus. They charge a $75/day incidental fee. We stayed from Friday to Sunday & never received any room service. We tried to check in at 2:20pm after a 10 hr drive. They said come back in 20 minutes, then said come back in another 20 minutes after that. We couldn't check in until 3:10pm because their system was down. The elevators didn't work & were extremely slow. The breakfast comes with typical sausage links, eggs, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, muffins. The shower returns cold water frequently. The faucet sink pressure is low & has a drip when you turn it off. The pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned.

The place had decent looking rooms, they're not luxurious, but they're definitely clean. Very spacious rooms. Continental breakfast is included, which is great compared to more luxurious hotels, they don't include continental breakfast anymore.

Good check in. They changed room as the first one offered was damp and smelt very musky. Hotel in my opinion is a little on the tired side. Breakfast area is too small, parts of the breakfast offering tasted stale and coffee on the weak side. My wife asked a member of staff for some stronger coffee, they just laughed. Hotel lo ated on edge of shopping area so some concerns about the area. The guy at checkout did not care for any customer feedback. Will not stay again.

Evacuated here to escape Hurricane Milton. I’m very picky about hotels, just abhor the idea of staying at any hotel, so I can be very critical. The room was perfect for our stay. Kitchenette and bath in first section of room, living area and office space in second section, and finally the king size bed and tv. Great for an extended stay. But what was the best part of our stay was the staff. They were amazing. The hotel was booked 100%. Every staff member had to work very hard to keep up with everything… and they did. Breakfast was a nightmare. So many people all in one place at the same time, but the staff persevered. Plenty of food, plenty of kind words from the staff, lots of understanding of everyone’s situation. I can’t complain and for me that’s a first. Thank you Comfort Inn Kendall.

I've traveled quite a bit and have experienced a lot of hotels - this really was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. We ended up getting there at 1:30 am, called ahead, and the receptionists were surprisingly friendly for that time of morning. Our hotel room was really cute and thought out!! I could tell the housekeepers were considerate about the details - there were more towels than needed, a bath mat was provided, the pillows were fluffed, pen and paper were placed near the phone, etc. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay here and it was a nice start to moving my brother into college. Thank you all!!
