First time Best Western user. Not impressed since we had issues, maybe due to high demand weekend. Rooms are spacious. Maintenance issues (our bathroom was broken) and we requested a different room. Rooms seems not to be checked before being marked as available; ours had empty soap and conditioner dispensers. We did not have enough towels and the lamp by the bed did not work. Staff was responsive and diligent thought. We did not try the breakfast since they start serving at 7 and we had an early start every day.
The beds were very comfortable we slept well. I wanted to rate this a 5 but the hotel breakfast was horrible the boil eggs & hashbrown were stale tasted old & luke warm, the bacon was way to thin, i ask the host to turn up the burners so that the breakfast items can get warm she didn't seem to understand my English unfortunately. We order dinner at the restaurant located inside the hotel the breaded chicken sandwich & fries were not cooked all the way so all 5 of the guests left the food on the plate and I couldn't understand why my rum & coke had a lime in inside my whole drink tasted bitter but overall the gentleman who took the order, cooked the food & served it was very kind & patient he worked very hard and really needed some help considering there was 25 of us. We couldn't enjoy the pool because there was a cat licking water from.it and a 2nd cat laying on the lounge chair, it look very uninviting. I want be back for the food but for a nice comfy sleep, ill return.
I came here to stay over as a place close to my wedding, and let me tell you how amazing my reception was! From the easy, no stress check in, quiet night, comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast, and easy check out! You guys have outdone yourself, and excited my expectations! Never made it pass the lobby! Carpet & furniture in the lobby was filthy. Bar countertop was dirty and sticky (don’t even want to imagine why)
Lobby men’s room toilets were clogged with who knows what that was. A bowl sitting on the lobby reception desk looked like someone pissed in it. Whatever that is it shouldn’t be there. A man who looked homeless was wondering around the lobby & bar area. Windows looked like they haven’t been cleaned in years. To top it off, women who looked like they just had surgery were coming into the lobby in robes & slippers to get to their rooms. I just left and found a real hotel. Plz be careful about staying here.
Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. They kindly accommodated us in an early check in. Notwithstanding, the bar and restaurant is awful. The bartender is the one that takes your order and prepare the food and that’s ok. But he took the order wrong, which is ok, it happens… but when I pointed out he argued that that’s why I ordered. So I had to explained that it was not and show him that he marked (2) chicken sandwiches instead of chicken tenders. He did not took it well at all. Then when the order arrived it was missing an order of fries. I kindly pointed out again because it happens that is not the problem. The problem was that he again argued with me and told me that I was wrong, that he gave me what I ordered. So I had to showed him the receipt (because he did not even look at it before arguing) and then he cursed and went back ti make them. In addition, when we asked for the cutlery he told us that there are not any cutlery. That the hotel policy is that the cutlery is only for breakfast. So they expect us to eat our food with our hands!!!!! Yes, the food we paid the hotel for, they expected us to eat it with our hands. That is just unacceptable. I have travel the world to different stars rated hotels and I have never seen something like that before!! Just eat the food of our hotel with your bare hands!! I will not recommend this hotel at all.
