I want to take a moment to recognize the hard work and dedication of the team at Avis, especially the manager. It’s easy to complain when things don’t go our way, but people don’t always realize how much effort goes on behind the scenes. This location is incredibly busy, often with just one person handling everything—from checkouts to car deliveries—and yet the manager is always working tirelessly with a positive attitude. He is professional, helpful, and does his best to ensure a smooth experience for customers, even under challenging circumstances. Hats off to him for his dedication and hard work. Keep up the great work Paco!
When they delivered the car to me it was dirty on the outside and when I returned it they wanted to charge me $75 because I returned it without vacuuming. I have rented cars many times from other places and they had never charged me for not vacuuming the car. The windshield wipers were worn out and when I used them there was fog and I couldn't see anything. They didn't have the car that I rented. I know these things happen but there were a lot of people with the same problem and they made them wait an hour.
***Rental beware*** do not leave anything in the vehicle because, they will not return them... I left a blue Miami District Design umbrella in the car rental. I called the business 10 minutes later and Johnathan advised that I can pick up the umbrella on the next day. Due to unforseen circumstances, I made it back next day. When I came to retrieve my umbrella the Rude female agent told me that she's the only one that answers the phone and no one gave her my umbrella. Eventhough she was the agent that returned our rental. She even called her manager told the same lie and needlessly to say I'm out of an umbrella. Even if you make a customer complaint and lost report. The same manager handles the incident. There's no escalation or no accountability of theft of property and disrespectful employees. Due to the signed contract Avis is not liable of property stolen and Liars. ***I'll rather pay a couple more dollars than to patronize a business that do not value basic customer service.
Excellent place to rent a car. Friendly staff, new cars and the best pricing! I will be returning here to continue renting from Avis in Homestead, thank you!
The supposed manager to this place is extremely rude and inconsiderate! Came to pick up my car at 9am and says there is no car available when I made my reservation 6 days prior to picking it up. Having 7 cars in the parking lot, he said he couldn't give me one because those had a reservation. Then like what happen to my car, I had a reservation. After calling corporate and filling a complaint against him. He was magically able to give me a car from the parking lot that was supposedly already reserved. If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not come here unless you want to waste your time
