My stay was nothing but amazing from start to finish! Cindy and Alejandra were absolutely amazing receptionists. The hotel is in the perfect location near the freeway, the Dadeland mall and small shops literally walking distance. My room was perfect and clean everyday thanks to the amazing staff, they also provide refreshments 24/7. Highly recommend anyone visiting to stay at this hotel, 10/10!
My stay here was for 4 nights. They didn't clean my room. It was dirty to begin with at my arrival. No coffee, no coffee cups. The temp in my shower 🚿 was hot. The light in the bathroom kept turning on. No cold water.
I will never stay here again.
Here I write this at nearly midnight. Dogs in next room barking for over an hour. Called front desk 2x and no resolution. If you're going to allow people who can't leave their animals home in your hotel then they should either all be on their own floor or in sound proof rooms. They clearly had no shame leaving them alone in the room. They xould have left them home. Rooms are nice. Location is good.
Excellent room. Very modern. Nice bar/restaurant. Wonderful breakfast served by loving staff. We're already booked for a return visit each side of another music cruise.
I often stay in Aloft hotels. This room was just ok. Fans were very noisy and at 6am we discovered that the (unused by us) toilet was backed up. We asked for either immediate maintenance or a replacement room. The unapologetic desk clerk waited for us to come down to the desk and then assigned us a handicap accessible room "for the moment".
I guess it's a fair solution, I just don't want to displace someone who needs it.
Bed is comfortable... We discovered later in the morning that an object had been left in the malfunctioning room and when we went to the desk to retrieve it were told that the room had not been rerented yet and so we could go up and get it ourselves. We went up to the room with a new key card, discovered the room in use, with luggage on the bed and the door unlocked... so the people at the front desk didn't even know that the room had been reassigned and who knows if the toilet was fixed...
After three days, the missing object was never recovered, the front desk didn't know what housekeeping was doing, Management didn't know what the front desk was doing, and no one knew what anyone else was doing. I'm glad it wasn't a laptop or a watch or a diamond ring, because according to the front desk, when housekeeping finds things in the rooms they simply throw them away. There was no way to retrieve something that was accidentally left behind. Everyone appeared to be both very friendly and very helpless in the situation. They were never malicious but they were absolutely inept. I'll have to think twice before I consider staying at this hotel again.
