The Pelican Key Largo Cottages

I love this place. I only write reviews after many good experiences. I always book friends and family at this place. So old Florida but renovated nicely on the inside. It's these places that offer more than a room. It's character. It includes boat rentals.

We went down with another couple for Thanksgiving we had an amazing time. This is a hidden gem. We loved the fact we could lay at the private beach and fish off the 2 piers. Elegant restaurants 5 minutes walking from this resort. Absolutely perfect vacation.

Rooms are quaint and very close to good restaurants in the area. Staff are very friendly. We reserved the biggest room with the best view for a relaxing vacation. However, unfortunately there were other guests that were very loud and inconsiderate. Beach rules stated no loud music and no outside visitors, but management did not enforce it.

First of all, great price especially for the keys! If you’re looking for luxury, this is not it. BUT if you like charm, old school Florida feels and a lovely place to fall asleep in, this is your place. The cottage we booked was the smallest one you can get. But for two of us it was fine! A big bed, clean bathroom and shower, tv, AC, fridge , microwave and coffee maker are all there! Not sure if the bigger suites have more items but we had all we need! The staff was friendly and available. There is a private beach and docks for guests with tiki huts which was really nice! And kayaks to use as well! It’s located to so many things and many within walking distance! There is plenty of parking on site. We drove a big passenger van and had no problems with parking ! Would stay here again in the future!
