a week agoThis hotel was very nice . It was in a great location if you’re going or coming from the Florida Keys. The manager was amazing! Very helpful. The breakfast was very nice. A great way to start the day. The manager told us of a fruit stand down the road and we took the time and drove down there and it was absolutely wonderful! Robert is Here is the name of it. If you have children they have a lot of rescued animals that are so fun to see !

a week agoLocation-wise this is perfect - less than a half hour to Biscayne, Everglades, and the Keys! They also give you discount coupons for local restaurants when you check in. The bed was comfortable, if a little squeaky. Breakfast options were decent. They were also accommodating when we needed an extra hour at checkout. Only con: the bathroom. The water pressure is terrible, you have to flush the toilet multiple times, and the fan is SO loud. Other than that, I would stay here again.

a month agoThis is one of the nicest Quality Inns at which my family has stayed. The hotel has exterior corridor rooms in one building and interior rooms in a separate building. We stayed in the interior corridor room building. The beds were comfortable, hot water worked well, and breakfast was reasonable. Keeping in mind Quality Inn is a budget brand, this hotel was excellent for the category. It is not a luxury or upscale hotel but it suited our needs just fine for getting to Big Cypress, Everglades, and the Keys. My family would consider staying here again if in the area.

a month agoThis is a nice place to stay. I wouldn’t call it quaint but I would call it friendly and clean. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. It has a morning breakfast with a nice little dining area. It’s children friendly. It’s adult friendly and it’s senior friendly. From this morning at my breakfast, it seemed like it was very crowded here so it must be an acceptable hotel in this area. It has towels and a coffee machine in your room, a hairdryer shampoo and conditioner on the wall and in the shower it has an iron and ironing board, if you need it and it has a lotion dispenser for after you get out of the shower. there is also a microwave and a fridge and plenty of lighting and trash receptacles in your room. There’s a safety lock on the front door. There are hangers and a small sofa with a very large bed. It’s very clean. There’s also a desk and chair if you need to work or just computer and the TV has a lot to offer as far as TV goes. If I had to complain about anything it is that the tub could be replaced as could the toilet because they seem a little old and apparently never replaced.

2 months agoThis was our first look at Homestead and it scared us. I stayed here before our vacation in Key West. There were signs in the room saying to lock the doors when we were inside. It wasn't a good first look. We stayed here just one day. On our way OUT of the keys we stayed at the Travel Lodge next door and felt safe and stayed for days. I'm not sure what the difference was over a parking lot but it was a different feel. At the Travel Lodge we sat outside and hung out with the neighbors. I'm not sure why the vibe was so different but it was. Was the room clean, yes...but the signs on the inside of the doors made it feel unsafe. To have signs telling guests to lock all the locks just feels bad.
