Trinity and Christina were phenomenal. They made sure every detail of our big day was taken care of every step of the way so that we could enjoy our wedding without worry. I could not have asked for a better experience - they went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted. I can't thank them enough, and I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the keys!
We hired Keys Planning and Events for Day of Coordination and decoration for our wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse. Throughout the last several months leading up to our wedding we worked closely with Christina to sort out the last minute details. We were planning our wedding from England and Christina always made herself ready and available to chat despite the time difference. Christina did a wonderful job coordinating our selected vendors and was so easy to work with. Our best man even coordinated a surprise for us with the help of Christina, which turned out lovely. She was amazing to work with and we were really thankful for all of her help. We weren't sure about hiring someone as we felt we could probably handle it ourselves but we are so thankful we decided to hire them. Christina made things very easy and free of any stress. On the day she made everyone feel very calm and did a great job setting everything up with little direction. Her personality is one of her strengths as a coordinator.

I hired a wedding planner to be sure my family could relax the day of the wedding and that did not happen. If it weren’t for my sisters stepping up to help, I would have been setting up my own wedding. Not the experience I was expecting for $5500 in total invoices paid. Her employee Christina quit halfway through my planning process and I believe she was the reason this business ran before her departure.
A few of the issues I experienced:
- I was told I would receive a discount if I rented items from her. I did rent $2500 worth and no discount off the planning services ($3000).
- I coordinated a date drove 5 hours to visit the venue and she had an excuse as to why she couldn’t make it morning of.
- prices changed after I decided not to use her for catering. Chargers went from $1 to $2.
- We verified one of the rentals I was renting from her could be delivered by a certain time. 5 minutes before said time she said “we tried to deliver the tables this morning and the gate was locked so we left” so my sister had to finish setting up after showering and getting ready. (And when she did arrive she informed us she only had 30 minutes for the rehearsal and she was leaving).
- the makeup artist she recommended also didn’t show up to the trial on my trip down.
- I ordered pizzas to be delivered and gave her phone number to verify the morning of. She told the pizza company she didn’t order them so they had to drive to the venue to verify the order day of.
- She was on-site the day of my wedding for less than 30 minutes because she had another event. She sent her catering manager to cover for her and told him “your only responsibility is napkins and chargers” (Might I remind of the $5500 total invoice) and after a lot of frustration and pleading he stepped up and helped and did a great job. I did tip him because he worked very hard to recover the night.
- When asked why she wasn’t coming to the venue the wedding day she cussed and yelled at my new sister in law.
DO NOT HIRE. I would give anything to go back and save myself and my sisters the stress of dealing with her.
THIS COMPANY IS SCAMMING PEOPLE, BEWARE!
I feel that it is important to write this review because I do not want any other bride to experience what we did. Please beware, this company is a scam.
I am the sister of the bride. My sister hired Trinity to be here wedding coordinator. First encounter with Trinity was not good. She did not show up to the initial meeting. She had an excuse why she cancelled last minute.
On the day of the rehearsal, she did not show up until 4:30 with tables. She had another excuse why should could not be there that day until 2 hours before rehearsal started to drop tables. She dropped the tables and left. Never helped at all. We were stuck setting up all of the rehearsal decorations, tables, table clothes, everything. When she showed up for rehearsal, she let us know that she only had 30 minutes until she had to leave for the night. When we spoke with her earlier that day she mentioned she would be there all day tomorrow (wedding day) With the exception of a couple hours.
Wedding day she showed up for 20 minutes before she made an excuse that she has to leave again. Never saw her the rest of the time. We were left to set decoration, move chairs, and help organize for the wedding. She ended up sending a person from her office that handles food catering to run the wedding. When we called her she started to yell at us, complaining about a wedding that she was at. Not sure if this was a double booked weekend but no one should have to experience the lack of customer service that we experienced with this company. They should not be allowed to collect money from people if they do no help with the wedding. FRAUD!! BEWARE
I hired Trinity and her team to arrange a private dinner for me and my family while on vacation in Marathon. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience! Trinity was always responsive to my many questions leading up to the event and worked with the chef to adjust the menu to my family's likes and dislikes. Her team was punctual and over delivered on service. The food that the chef cooked was beyond delicious and was also presented beautifully. I would definitely recommend Keys Planning and Events to anyone looking for a professional and detail oriented experience!
