When reading other reviews note the YEAR it was written. It used to be great when Andi owned it.We used her company to lease a condo for 2 years in a row. In 2023 she sold and the new owners are awful. If you are letting them lease your property- break the contract. As a renter we were treated like less than zero. I doubt they ever stepped foot into the rental to check on things. When we arrived there were so many issues: light bulbs out everywhere, a curtain rod falling down, mildew smell, etc. The cleaning service they hire between rentals just does a basic job, and doesn’t report problems. During our stay we had a major storm and flood issue and spent 2 days mopping up and doing our own cleaning and were told “weather happens”… and never given a credit or even a free breakfast when the construction crew threw us out of the condo for a day for repairs. Any mail or packages sent to us just sat there until WE inquired. Very bad social and communication skills.
The owner of our place was totally ripped off as well. We asked for a new chair for the balcony (for reading etc) and they brought in an outdoor dining set- the original one was fine- and no chair! We would have accepted a plastic andiron-
deck replacement!! You know the owner was charged for the dining set big time. The new owners Just. Don’t. Care. Rent from another company. The only reason they get 2 stars is because they smile when taking your money….
I have used Keys Holiday Rentals ever since I began offering my property for a vacation rental in Islamorada, Florida. It was the best decision I could have made. Vacation rental companies are often formulaic - offering turn-key services and advertising programs that may or may not be the best fit for many properties. The fact is that every property has its unique characteristics -- its charm, history, and special amenities. In my case, in addition to its cozy location and breath-taking view-scape, the property has been in my family for over fifty years...it's got tremendous sentimental value to me, and the folks at Keys Holiday Rentals appreciate that. They extend the same kind of attention to it as if it is their own, and that in turn extends to the service and attention our guests receive.
The leaders of KHR, Andi and Dick Saylor, and the wonderful team they have assembled over the years are truly exceptional. From the homeowners perspective they are innovative, responsive, and are always willing to go that extra mile. From the guest perspective, they are attentive, helpful, and determined to ensure guests have the experience they came to the "Fabulous Florida Keys" to enjoy. It's a great combination.
Super property management and support for owners and tenants. Everyone is very professional and great to work with. They have high standards for all of their service. I would definitely recommend Keys Holiday Rentals to property owners and vacationers
