Great place to shop ! Best customer service , Friendly staff never had an issue , Highly recommend .If you’re a coin collector Ask for Nico he’s knowledgeable about coins I even got a free coin as a gift during a promotion with my coin purchase I have been back many times since !

Nick is a deceiving sales men.... Also he only sales silver quarters and silver dimes... All other coins are not for sale because from his words... he's going to buy them so they are Not for sale.. this place once had All kinds of silver, bars and coins.... I remember a few years back this shop was the shop to go to in homestead for a loan or coins and silver bullion..... Now with Mr Nick in there..... all the coins went missing and inventory has been reduced to a minimal, because NICK the sales manager keeps the good stuff...... he also increased the price on me twice in one day... I gladly paid because I believe in supporting my local shops.... But unfortunately Nick the manager has told me not to return to the store, he also flat out said I CAN'T buy any bullion from HIS establishment. Homestead Pawn and Coin and affiliates have GONE DOWN THE DRAIN...GREED. I wish the old man was still running the shop..

I have done business with Homestead Pawn and Coin and other Pawn Shops in the South Dade area for years that included pawning and purchasing jewelry.. I am done with Homestead Pawn and Coin on Washington Ave.....I pawned two bracelets, a diamond tennis bracelet and a two tone bracelet that was pulled out of pawn and placed on layaway...I was called to come and pick up my items.....I came down from Georgia and my tennis bracelet was gone but the other bracelet was there..I waited for 2 hours as they said they were looking for it..I even asked them to look a little longer which was like 30 min more due to it showing that it was still there.....I was given a letter stating that if they find the bracelet I can purchase it back at the price that it was sold to me...Ok all the years I paid interest and the bracelet was high end so what about replacement...I have called over 30 times to speak to Anna being that Anna gave me the letter....no response..I have left numerous messages ...No response...My number is in the computer....No contact....When Jr and the other crew was there, my jewelry never disappeared and the interactions were always professional..If you left a message, it was returned and in a timely manner...I never had a problem...I have had some very nice and expensive items placed there.... I never experienced such poor customer service and disrespect...That’s blatantly how I feel for the first time considering all the years that I have done business with Homestead Pawn and Coin......It’s been over a month now ....There has been no follow up and no resolution...At this point MY calls have ceased....

This place is amazing, you can buy or pawn everything in the easy way because the customer service ant the attention for the clients is the priority. In my opinion Nick is the best in my experience.

Called in first to see if they were interested in buying what i was offering. (It was my first time having any contact with a pawn n coin here in Homestead Fl) A male promptly answered the call, and my questions and he did it as polite as your grandmother in her church outfit would complement one of her good friends. I approached the shop for the first time, and because this is a review I will not lie. Uppon approaching the store; it wasn't much to look at (THIS IS NOT ME SAYING IT LOOKED HORRIBLE OR DUMMPY, but just a small storefront with nothing extra special on the outside). To enter you have to be "buzzed in" by ringing a doorbell right next to the door. Inside is a small well-kept browsing area/waiting area. (I was the only one in the store at the time of my transaction so it felt more spacious than it really is/was) Its connected to other small shops on the same strip which I have not looked into or at, so I can not say anything about the other stores. Parking is not the easiest especially during rush-hour, but it didn't take me more than 4 minutes to find a spot. OVERALL, I give this Pawn n Coin a 5 star rating for blowing me out of the water with how polite and prompt the employee was able to help. The employee I delt with spoke great, vary easy to understand english. (Which is great for me. Im only fluent in English) Also gave me a more than fair deal on what I was selling/he was biying from me. As this is my first pawn shop I've gone to here in Homestead, it will be my last because I don't think there is a better one around for miles, and im making this my "usual" shop. You should too!!
