Drift Hotel

Our experience at Drift was outstanding. We have a special shout out to Aubrey at the front desk. She is sweet as pie! She made the stay extra special by upgrading our room to a suite, not knowing we were there for my birthday. The amenities are top notch between the awesome beach, fabulous pier, kayaks, paddleboard, and bikes for the guest use. The staff is remarkable as well, all with friendly personalities. And the other guest where as happy to be there as we were. We made loads of friends. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed one night at the beginning of March and it was great. Nice kitchen and clean room. Plus they provide Bikes, kayaks and paddleboard. Would definitely stay again.

We arrived feeling completely drained after being evacuated from Pennekamp State Park due to the hurricane. However, the evening turned out to be absolutely fantastic. The woman at the front desk gave us an incredibly warm welcome and as a special exception allowing us to park our medium sized RV on the property (we had reserved a room). The reception service was very friendly, and we instantly felt like home. The room itself (7A) had a lovely Florida Keys style, complete with a great TV, a functional air conditioner, and a spacious kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room was quiet, which made for a restful stay. The small private beach was fantastic—perfect for swimming—and the atmosphere in the evening was wonderful. There were a few minor issues, like finding some ants (dead or dying, which showed they were actively managing the problem), and there wasn’t much dishware, with only one deep plate available. The light next to the bed flickered a bit, but none of these things affected our experience significantly. We give a wholehearted 5 stars and would return in a heartbeat!

Major disappointment! We checked in and went to our room #14. It was NASTY! Went directly to Front Desk clerk and reported that we found hairs on bed, DIRTY Walls, mug/coffee stains on table, crumbs, ants etc. Front Desk clerk came to room with me to see for herself and she was like ooh yeah it's dirty. Option 1 stay or Option 2 get a full refund. She said they had no staff to clean room. We obviously took refund and had to find another place to stay. Front clerk seemed as if she has dealt with this often. As business owners we understand things happen therefore we try to work things out so that we get a room and they get the business. Manager did not want to talk to me which means she really didn't care so we left and decided they deserve a review. Enjoy the pictures and if I could upload a video I would.

We stayed here for one night. There was a porch with sitting area in front of the room. Great location. Easy access to the water. The room was clean. The only small thing to argue about was the really loud fridge, which looked good though, and that the microwave and the coffee maker weren't plugged in (maybe provide an adapter?). Beside that everything was fine. We can recommend staying here.
