Solid place! We were loading up for a multi-day trip at Flamingo. This is the perfect place to stop. If you want live bait you want to buy it as close to the park as possible cuz you can't get any there. Loaded up on ice at lower cost too! Prices were good and it's a really well stocked place. This is your spot. I heard about it from a friend and now I'm telling you, 100% legit report. No I don't know Don.
Ash is so nice he is very interactive, and he also speaks Spanish for assistance if needed. It is such a cool bait shop they have a lot of options for bait and a lot of other items you can purchase. Chris is also available if you need assistance. They have such great energy and dope to talk to also.It's definitely a place people that fish need to visit.
As a visitor from out of state who usually fishes small, cold waters , I stopped into Don's for my first visit to fish the canals of south Florida. The store has a great selection of traditional and modern rigs, a variety of merch, and a vast local knowledge of what fish prefer what baits. I spent 20 minutes here and could have easily spent an hour learning from the staff but had to run out to start casting. Their advice helped me hook a jaguar chiclid, my fist exotic, and I credit Don's for helping me with the catch.
