Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I’ve always appreciated Cracker Barrel for its comforting atmosphere and reliable food, but my recent visit to the Florida City location was incredibly disappointing. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy, so we expected quick service. Unfortunately, it took 20 minutes for our food to arrive, which seemed excessive given how quiet the place was. When the food finally came, several items were missing from our order, including the strawberry topping for my pancakes, biscuits, and an iced caramel latte I had specifically ordered. Adding to the frustration, I requested the hash brown casserole, a Cracker Barrel favorite, but instead received plain hash browns. When I asked the server about this, she insisted it was the casserole, which it very clearly was not. The French toast portion was laughably small—the smallest I’ve ever seen—and when the latte eventually arrived, it wasn’t sweet at all, making it an unsatisfying addition to an already disappointing meal. While the waitress was polite and kind, her attitude felt complacent, as though she wasn’t particularly concerned about the mistakes or delays. It’s worth noting that we are frequent Cracker Barrel customers and have come to expect much better service and food quality. This visit, however, fell far below standard and was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had at any Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel usually excels at comfort food and hospitality, but this location was a letdown. Management needs to address these service and kitchen issues if they want to maintain the brand’s reputation. I hope this was an off day and not a sign of declining standards.

For the first time. I was unsatisfied with my breakfast. It saddened me the quality of all hot food. Most was warm food. Biscuits were salty, sausage Patty was cool and tasted like cardboard. My pancakes where cool and kinda oily. Service was OK but not Cracker Barrel quality. Mom's pancake butter could not melt on the cold pancakes!

Always have a great visit to Cracker Barrel! The pancakes were delicious, and I love the rocking chairs outside and browsing the store. The store itself is full of charm, with a great selection. Wish I had one closer!

Delicious home made style meals at great prices. The atmosphere was very nice. We had lunch before our roadtrip to the Keys. The store, everything is always so amazing.
