Courtyard Miami Homestead

Staff was amazingly nice! Rooms nice, showers have very low pressure though. Like standing under a sprinkle. What irks me is instead of providing any sort of breakfast, they essentially have a Starbucks on site so you can pay for extremely mediocre coffee and food. I thought Marriott Hotels were supposed to be upscale? I will be back in Miami on a month and will stay somewhere that has a nice breakfast included.

Right out of turnpike. Clean room and comfortable beds. Stayed just one night as we continued on to Key West next day morning. Breakfast isn’t included in base rate. Booked through Chase Travel which had an option with breakfast for two adults and was not that higher than base rate. Breakfast is provided through Starbucks inside. Our booking allowed us to get two hot breakfast items. We got French Toast & Two Eggs with potatoes and toast which was good. Comes with a drink each - got a coffee and bottled orange juice. Very pricey breakfast otherwise. We got a bagel & cream cheese and it was $7. Bathroom sink faucet was very loose to the point that it may come off. Though lobby and room looked good, bathroom needs some updating. Wear & tear very visible. Quite worn out towels.

We arrived here at Christmas Eve. Walmart and other stores are closed on our way here. One of our family members has a cold and running nose. Unfortunately the whole hotel cannot find an extra box of tissue paper. We confirmed twice with the front desk. Never happened in my previous travel experience. Sounds ridiculous to me after an exhausted day. Very disappointed. Additionally, the bathtub plug was pulled out and left in the bathtub when we saw it. Of course nobody came to have a look because it’s Christmas Eve. I read good reviews before making the reservation, but be aware that there’s no service at least at Christmas Eve.

The hotel is super clean and very nice! The room is spacious with a very pleasant smell. The front desk staff is very professional and friendly. The breakfast is excellent! The only thing that bothered me during my stay was the dismissive attitude of the woman who was at the bar/ restaurant . I never got her name.she is older with light eyes and short gray hair. At first she was very rude and she didn't want to help me, By at the end of breakfast she was calmer. I liked it a lot, I would come back without thinking twice!

Nice location. Outback and Starbucks are located right next door. Great rooms and the lobby were really nice. It had an okay gym. The negatives are that there is no free breakfast, and I had sugar ants in my bathroom. I would try another location if I come down again. Especially one with a free breakfast.
