Just as the other comment stated, if I could leave 0 stars, I would. Management team is very disorganized, non communicative and overall rude. I have had water shut off for 4 days straight. I’ve sent numerous updates on the portal, via text, called the office, etc. I have only received the response that “maintenance will be up to solve the issue.” However, this was only fabricated. There’s been issues of leaking from the floor above, failing to call maintenance for spider infestation, etc. I HIGHLY do not recommend.
The entire “characterization” of the company’s response to my first review is utterly “dishonest,” as the lease was upheld. In reference to the lease, please provide proof of a wet signature stating that I allowed leasing information to be disclosed on the internet, otherwise the response does break the law. The company’s prompt response to a google review-instead of 3 days worth of calls, texts and portal updates- is the epitome of the constant lack of professionalism regarding organization and communication, that my initial review mentioned. Please scroll the rest of the reviews as similar unprofessional experiences have occurred with CDMP and Chester.
Terrible property management- incredibly disorganized. They sometimes do not give you notice when pest control comes and when they do, it’s only 24 hours notice. I have a life and plans and I’m not always available at the drop of a hat for pest control. Additionally, my master key for the lobby broke due to many years of use and requesting a new one has been a nightmare. I keep getting told something different every time I call and that “it’ll be available soon and they will call me.” The day they were supposedly available, I called three times and nobody answered. Ridiculous that I pay to live here and I can’t even access my own building lobby.
If zero stars were available, my review would definitely be a zero. Chester is a crook to simply put it. He stole half of our security deposit money. For a month we tried to get in contact with him to let him know we were missing half, he then admitted to knowing he owed us money. But, apparently he “messed up” with his calculations when we first moved in so, in order to makeup for his lack of management, he simply kept our money.
This act was a blatant breach of our lease. He also acknowledged that fact and stated, if we sue him it’s in our lease that we have to pay his legal fees. Please do yourself a favor and go with any different company! He is a thief, and has zero morals or dignity when dealing with money.
Also, his assistant is extremely pleasant and was more than patient with us when we called.
