I feel like you gotta understand what makes this place so great before knowing if it is for you. This is gonna be one of those "hole in the wall" type places that everyone needs to experience. Not too many places to park and not too many places to sit, not saying it is a bad thing though...just don't expect a big place or look for one because you will miss it. Also, it is a cash only establishment which is no bother to me personally, but I feel you should be prepared before going there. Not everyone carries cash these days. To my understanding, it was the woman who owned this place that served us and cooked our food. To me, this is the epitome of keys living! She knows everything about the food she serves and everyone in the area. She made our tacos with love, which everyone knows is the best ingredient! Where else can you order a tuna taco and get a freaking tuna steak inside cooked perfectly?!?! Honestly, it really was that good. Also, she made the seasoned and cooked the shrimp perfectly. The tacos were killer all the way, but we definitely favored the shrimp and tuna tacos over other other things we tried. The lemonade is out of this world. It was not too sweet and just the right amount of tartness you should be after. If you can honestly try it and not give her respect for making it the way she does then just stay home. I'm not even a big lemonade fan, but I would order that every single time. Great food. Great conversation. Great little place to stop in and grab a bite...or at least tacos and lemonade. Don't just take my word for it, go there and see for yourself.

I got the yellow tail tuna sandwich (it may have been the seahorse sandwich) and my wife got the she crab soup. We both had a fresh squeezed lemonade, and it was outstanding! It was serendipity that we stopped here. The restaurant isn't easy to spot and I drove past it the first time. The owner, Bron, had great story and sightseeing advice. Cash only restaurant as a middle finger to the predatory practices of credit card companies on small business owners

Cute little hole in the wall with the nicest man who stayed late to get us dinner. Tacos and Caesar salad was phenomenal. Cash only. Plan ahead. Would def come back!!

This is one of the best restaurants I've found in the Keys in almost 20 years. The food is actually amazing. The She Crab Soup is delicious. The owner is the nicest lady. This is one of those special restaurants unique to the Keys. Very fresh locally sourced fish and seafood. They also sell Angus beef burgers. Highly recommend stopping in. We'll definitely be stopping back by on our way in and out. Thanks again!

She-Crab soup was the best soup I ever had. If you are in the Keys you need to check this place out. Shelby was excellent server. Family run restaurant and their key lime pie was worth the hype. Will go there again and will recommend anyone to stop by.
