Not sure why ownership chose to open to similar places right next-door to each other… But this place has namebrand items for a fraction of the cost. Loads of clothing for babies, children, women, and men. They have a wide array of coats and long sleeve shirts, which we don’t need down here in the Keys but if you’re looking for something to have when you go visit up north this is your place to go to. Very clean store and the staff was very nice.

People that knows what Burlington offers, will know this one is one of the best spots. This store has great management. Lots of great items, better than some stores. Their selections is better overall. Yes, they sell coats, even though we live in Florida, but people travel and for a fraction of the price, they are just wonderful. I always buy winter clothes from Burlington stores. Bathrooms are clean. Only thing is, they do need more people that actually speaks English. It is going to be really hard for people to communicate if they only speak English.

The store is disorganized. Lots of the racks have a similar mix of clothing. Some are clearance racks so that’s understandable but regular priced racks aren’t clearly marked as to what is on them. There are tons of racks of coats & im not even sure if they are mens or womens. Looking for a rain coat… nope. Ski jacket in key largo? Yep- tons of super puffy coats to choose from. I could accept poor organization if the employees were busy checking out customers but when i went to check out there was a line that wasnt moving & 1 cashier. The store was not busy. Just a long line not moving. They have loss prevention guy but not enough employees to make the store work well. I left my items behind. Is loss prevention guy stopping enough theft to make up for the lost sales when customers leave because they cant find what they are looking for or dont want to wait in a line that is not moving. I doubt it. I wonder what store will replace Burlington when this location fails?

The place was an absolute madhouse today; I'm also pretty blown away by how many heavy winter coats they actually sell. Yes, they have housewares and shoes, but I guess if the next ice age begins any time soon, we'll be good to go here in Key Largo! If you're on the taller side, forget about buying any shirts here, as the company apparently assumes we're all 3'6" in South Florida.

My experience Friday November 8th from around 11:00am - 12:00pm EST was absolutely inadequate and unprofessional and sad. I went to the “kids” section, I did not see any books, and approached a female employee at the fitting room podium. She was speaking a different language to a male customer who did not work at the store. I stood back waiting my turn. I kindly asked, “Hi, where are the children books”? She stood there and stared at me. She then turned and looked at the male customer (for what seemed to be for help). Then they both turned their heads and stared at me. Complete silence. I asked again. Another employee walked up to the lady at the podium, and while walking up she heard me. They all three stared at me saying nothing. Another employee was passing by and saw our rather awkward stare, if you will. And immediately waved me over so she could assist me. Her name is Renee, and she was very kind to help me when two employees would not help, but only stare at me. Renee helped me find the books in the check out line. My cashier Elizairis was very kind, although she did not speak much English, that doesn’t matter because, she actually helped the customer (myself) and had a smile on her face. Thank you Elizairis for being a genuine human being in this cruel world. I appreciate your hard work and willingness to actually work your job. As I paid and gathered my bags, the Loss Prevention guy was bent over in front of the entrance door checking bags. I started to walk out and the sensors went off. I respectably stepped back and waited behind two other ladies for him to check my bags. When he got to me and my bags, he did not search my bags, rather took one bag, specifically out of my right hand and tried to wave it through the door sensors. The machine went off again. So he waved me to follow him back to the checkout counter. We stand beside a customer (male, glasses in a blue shirt) and a female Cashier in a bright pink blazer - a statement piece if you will, as she did make a statement. The Loss Prevention guy said something to the Pink Blazer Cashier and then seemed to have asked me a question. Again, the Loss Prevention guy did not speak English so I was not able to understand him. My gut feeling was telling me that he was asking me if they could check my bag, and I replied to his unknown words with “yes she may check my bag”. He then either repeated himself or said something else, “but I kindly said they can check my bags”. The Pink Blazer Cashier then said “no Comprende” with more words in a very rude manner. The Pink Blazer Cashier then continued to speak her language aloud, more and more words, I obviously could not understand and she started to glare up and down at me. I looked over at her customer that she was checking out and he began to laugh. The Pink Blazer Cashier was talking about me, and as I stood there I saw two more customers who are checking out beside Pink Blazer Cashier’s customer turn around, look at me, and start laughing. All while Pink Blazer Cashier is talking up a storm and glaring at me. Her customer was laughing at me, and so was the other customers. The customers are obviously the same ethnicity, so they understood what she was saying. That’s just it, it was known I couldn’t understand their language and Pink Blazer Cashier took full advantage of that. I literally stood there and witnessed hate being displayed towards me. I was belittled, made fun of, laughed at and most importantly disrespected on all levels, PUBLICLY. How is this allowed? How is treating people like how I was treated all over the store allowed? How do these employees have jobs at this store location by treating human beings like this. This is disgusting behavior, and poor poor employee hiring selections. I have personally worked retail for decades. I have worked with customers on many many levels. Not once would I treat a customer, person, a human being the way I was treated today. If my IQ was that low to think about treating a person the way I was treated today, I’d be fired.
