Amazed how it is Monroe County has allowed this place to stay in business after ripping off so many tourists and locals. As well as subjecting them to dangerous and filthy living that clearly violates the county's codes. Upping the rent for the place is about the only recent changes along with probable rapid mold growth. This place is unsafe, unethical and a shame to Florida Keys! GOOD NEWS!!! Monroe County Florida could not get the job done. But Irma she took care of the Boatels and their scamming owner.
Avoid at all costs! Half the boats were under water. The smell was intolerable. Beer cans thrown all over the place. No way...no how! Keep the money...you need it. The place should be condemned.

8 years agoIf a motel could be condemned this one would be first in line. The smell was worse than being in a porta pottie. Absolutely uninhabitable.
