The best place I have ever been. They have rules which keeps it nice and peaceful for everyone. They don’t let people park on the roads, they don’t allow them to party til 3/4am like most campgrounds in the Key’s. They have a gate which was great it had a code to get in and out. The laundry room is clean the bathhouse is clean, the pool is clean, the playground is clean. They have staff who keeps everything tidy.
They market this as an RV Park but it's a mobile home park. We needed a spot to stay one night before we headed to the keys and this was our last resort since our Harvest Host location cancelled. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The maintenance guy was very nice but the sights are squeezed together and some are not kept up well.
We stayed here 2 nights to see Biscayne before heading to the Keys. The amenities were very disappointing- we didn’t even have a picnic table at our site, no net at volleyball court, only one pool stick that could be used that was taped together and the fitness room is a stretch. This is mostly a mobile home park with some temporary spots. Our favorite part was walking around to see the beautiful landscaping in front of some of the units.
Depending on where you are able to get a spot in the park. It can be kinda noisy. The police department in Homestead are very active! They're fore they like using their sirens a LOT and if you are close to the road you will know when they are coming and when they have passed. Friendly staff here. Some nice amenities here as well. Good location to stay if you are looking to go down to the Keys for a day trip and don't want to pay higher prices for a place to camp for the winter .
This is a clean park with a lot of permanent residents. We have a 43 ft. 5th wheel and they were able to accommodate us. The streets are kind of tight, but it worked for us. The office staff were incredibly helpful and polite. They went out of their way to help us and we appreciated it. One of the residents even came out to help us park. This place is very convenient to shopping and things to do. We didn't get to use the pool, but it is very nice.
